I just finished David Goggins’ book, “Can’t Hurt Me”, from a flight home after speaking in Florida. Talk about a page-turner. Goggins’ childhood was a nightmare: poverty, racism, and physical and mental abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, he turned himself from a depressed, overweight man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon, and one of the world’s top athletes.
