Have you worked with a moody person?
I bet you have!
You never know what type of mood they would be in. Years ago, I had the experience of working with one and after a few weeks, I realized it was like riding an emotional rollercoaster. Emotional twists and turns every day. Over time, it became energy-draining, physically exhausting, and overall frustrating.
This year, let’s make a determination to embrace the art of getting along.
I encourage you to stabilize your emotional encounters. Put people at ease by showing warmth and approachability. Begin by being sensitive toward people’s feelings– even strangers.
Remember, being at ease with ourselves helps others be at ease with us. There is no greater gift to others than to let them be comfortable in being their authentic self in our presence. Let’s say it together, “DON’T BE MOODY!”
Here’s to the art of getting along!
