4 POSITIVE ENCOURAGEMENTS IN TIMES OF DEPRESSION
In working one-on-one with personal leaders, I’ve observed a common theme in the last few years: DEPRESSION.
I’m not a psychologist but I do know that depression can take place from several angles. Here are some of the symptoms I’ve heard leaders share in the last few years:
You can manage depression or even keep it away if you believe in these 4 things consistently.
- Take out one sheet of paper. Map out 5 goals in life for the next 2 years: 3 must-have professional goals and 2 must-have personal goals.
- When you keep your mind focused and occupied on efforts to achieve these goals, you really won’t have much time or energy to be depressed.
- At the end of every day, write down 2-3 micro-accomplishments that get you closer to reaching your goals.
Finally, consider coaching and mentoring– they can be a significant way to elevate your life.
Here’s to overcoming depression and living your best life!
