10 High-Impact Qualities of Difference-Makers

I heard in an interview by “Dobo” Swinney, head football coach at Clemson University talk about making a difference. How he teaches excellence and uncommon values to his team.

One example: “When we pack up and leave a visiting locker room (win or lose), we leave it better. We clean it with complete cleaning supplies– every player picks up every little stitch of athletic tape or paper towels. We leave it better and clean it up perfectly.”

In fact, last year, they lost a tough game at Notre Dame and received a wonderful email from the head coach and athletic department saying: “You guys left our locker room incredibly clean– no one has ever done that. Thank you!”

Think of simple yet practical ways to make a difference this week. It may be a card, a meal, a sincere gesture of kindness, a blessing to someone!
